let's make something like a book;
:::how to: make a
hotdog book
This is a folded book requiring a single cut. It's quick, fun and quite fulfilling for something so simple. It has a "hidden" page which can be put to great use ^_~
:::how to: make a
minibook
This minibook uses staples, but as I go on to say in the text, you will want to evolve into a true signature book. If you are scared of them, let this book start you off easily. It will whet your appetite for the streamlined appearance.

things you might need for these projects;
- critical thinking
- pens, pencils, ink, brushes, painting materials, crayons
- paper, plenty of paper: lightweight, printed, heavy, origami, natural, made by you, newsprint, old book paper, cut from magazines, just lots of paper
- gluesticks, glue, paste, adhesvies, tapes. You can use acid free if you like.
- staples. metal means the possibility of corrosion though, just in case the acid free was on your list
- a ruler. metal makes for nice sharp bends, but wood has the thrum of life in it, yeah?
- the ability to realise that perfection and the attainment of it is fruitless, pointless, and painful and if plato is right: impossible to achieve as the ideal only exists as an ideal, never to be achieved
- embellishments for the page, the cover, or the container
- waxed linen thread, cotton thread, silk ribbons, rayon thread and needles to use with them
- a nice box to keep things tidy. I like cigar boxes because they are so taken with being decorated!
